Two-time MOTUL FIM Superbike World Champion Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing - Ducati) was dealt a difficult hand on Saturday morning at the Autodrom Most in Free Practice 3 of the Czech Round as he crashed and suffered several fractures to his right ankle. On Monday, May 18th, Bautista underwent Surgery in Madrid, which was successful, and the team reports he will begin his post-operative recovery in the days to come.
